Incubi, succubi, kitsune, huli jing, lilu, melusine, lamia, and so on. Myths and legends around the world are filled with tales of these spirits, often called demons, who share one common aspect: they interact sexually with humans. The reasons as to why vary with the parties involved and who's telling the tale. More often than not, it doesn't end well for the mortals they visit, but sometimes some good comes from it. Or at the very least, it doesn't wind up being all bad. More recently, nuanced tales are told of these creatures: they have wants, needs, and desires beyond the flesh. Sometimes they can do good, despite their perceived nature.

Enter a world where these creatures exist, if they don't already in your character's canon. Explore what it would be like for your character to either be one of these creatures or to interact with one of them. Will they survive the encounter?

1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and preferences in the subject line. It's recommended that you also write out some ideas for what you'd like to play out in the body: ideas for scenarios or dynamics, a blurb about your character's past and abilities, etc. Try not to leave it blank; give people something to work with.

2. If you're having trouble deciding, some options have been provided that you can RNG.

3. Respect people's preferences. Though the premise of this meme deals with sexual issues, this is not necessarily a smut meme. You can play out all the gen, fluff, smut, hurt/comfort, etc. that you want. Just make sure to respect your partners.

Roles

1. Incubus - The most common name for the male form of this creature, they are known for visiting women and feeding upon them during intercourse. They have been known to be witches' familiars. Of course, there's no reason why they should be limited to working with or feeding upjust women, or women at all.
2. Succubus - The female form of these creatures, most tales describe them as visiting and feeding upon men during the night. They have been blamed for the nocturnal emissions and being the mothers of other demons. Just as with incubi, they do not have to be limited to visiting women only or at all.
3. Shifter - Depending on the story, there is only one kind of spirit that visits people: capable of shifting sex, it visits one person in one form and another person in another.
4. Victim - Maybe it was chance that brought you to the attention of one of these creatures. Maybe someone cursed you. Maybe you're just that attractive in some form or another. No matter what the reason is, you
5. Summoner/Partner/Worshipper - Perhaps you're a witch or some other kind of magician summoning this creature. It could be for a magical partnership or it could be to use against someone else. Maybe you're just lonely and want to get laid. In some cultures, creatures like this were feared and/or worshipped - maybe you're keeping the traditions alive?
6. Progeny - Merlin and Gilgamesh are both examples of children fathered by these creatures. It's obvious that the union between them and humans produces children of unusual skill. If you're the child of an incubus or a succubus, do you know it? Do you want to know your real parents?
7. Hunter - Were you a victim who broke free of their clutches? Was someone you know hurt by these creatures? Are you part of a group devoted to monitoring or taking them out? Whatever the reason, you pursue these creatures and try to minimize the harm they can do.
8. Other - Not everything is covered above. Feel free to play out any scenarios you want in the setting.

Scenarios

1. Summoning - If you're capable of it (or maybe it was an accident), you've summoned yourself an incubus or a succubus. Are they going to listen to you, or are they going to have their way in one form or another?
2. (Repeat) Feeding - A creature's got to eat, and these creatures feed through contact - usually sexual, but sometimes any old physical contact will do. They say a person can survive, but sometimes the urge to feed gets too strong and they feed too deeply.
3. Illness - You've been visited, and probably not for the first time. When a person is fed upon, they will most likely start showing signs. Fatigue, suggestibility, and so on. Will someone notice? Will your visitor have a change of heart?
4. Romance - It's rare, but it happens. There's no malice behind feeding, usually. It's just a creature trying to survive, and sometimes they fall in love. But can they tell the person they've fallen for what they are? Will that person accept them?
5. Discovery - Now's as good as time as any, or maybe it's the worst possible time, but people know. How will you deal, as one of these creatures? Do you run? As the person who's found out, do you attack them or try to understand, if understanding is possible?
6. Weakness - Sometimes there's a weakness these creatures have. Cliche as it might sound, sometimes love can save you. In some versions of the story, true love will protect a person and ward them from these creatures. Sometimes love will actively hurt them.
7. Other - It's a whole new world out there. Maybe you're an incubus or succubus that tries to live as a librarian and likes getting coffee from the shop down the street. From mundane to exciting to cruel, your choices are limitless.

I just wanted to confirm something that's been on my mind for a while.

[He definitely knew the person that she was talking about. Arata didn't turn his back, but there's an accepting smile on his face. It was no wonder Inaba had fallen for a guy like Taichi. He was selfless, kind and had pure intentions compared to a guy like himself. If you had to ask Arata on his feelings towards Taichi...

It was a complicated feeling. He liked him as a friend, yet there was something about him that he couldn't stand. The moment that Arata had heard about his dream "to save the world"... He never outright said it, but he knew that he was going to become enemies with that guy. Taichi was just that one guy who would be his rival. Arata's outright said that plenty of times in jest, but he really did meant it. He just never thought that a mere human would be his opposing opposite.]

Heroes are pretty interesting, aren't they? They put their lives on the line for others, yet they never ask for anything in return. Some people find it cool, but it's also a bit messed up... Don't you think?

[And now, he's turning around with a flamboyant hand gesture as he casually sits himself up on the table. Just what was he getting at here?]

[ Inaba presses her lips together. This subject was difficult to talk about. While she supported her boyfriend in regards to this subject, there were some things that she didn't entirely agree with. Lowering her gaze as she doesn't look directly at him, she manages to speak, grimly, ]

I... don't think it's right that they get nothing in return. If they're going to help people out, then it's only fair for them to get something.

[ She then swings her arms behind her head, looking up at the ceiling as she mulls things over. ]

Doing things selflessly is fine. But there's a difference between being kind and sacrificing yourself without thinking about what others will think about it... Or something like that. Well, that's just my thoughts on the matter. Sometimes I don't support Taichi's ideals because he sometimes does things without truly thinking about the other person and it just ends up in a chaotic mess. Well, he's definitely learned from his mistakes at the very least and isn't acting like a ridiculous protagonist.

[So she wasn't 100% supportive of Taichi's ideals, huh? And Arata was thinking that she would be behind anything and everything she did completely. Almost like an innocent little sheep that was following a sheep herder. That was one reason why Arata found her worthy of him. Not only did she have good looks, Arata could clearly see that she could think maturely for herself.]

I know it's not my place to say, but it's gotta be irritating sometimes. Taichi's a great guy, but haven't you ever thought that he's a little too good? Guys like him can learn from one mistake, but that won't stop them from making the same one over again.

[With that, Arata hops off the table and walks up to Inaba to close the laptop in her lap shut. A gesture to say "Pay attention to me."]

We haven't. I told him we weren't going to do it until at least after we graduated... [ And there's a pause as her face turns a bright red yet again. Way to go, Arata, you've managed to make her blush yet again just thinking about it. ]

W— Wait a second, why do you even want to know? You really are a pervert, aren't you?!

Hmhm... I'm just being a good friend and showing some concern for your relationship. No need for the dirty labels and such.

[Which translates to: "Yes. Yes, I am definitely a pervert." Regardless of the name calling, Arata is taking it in stride. He was the kind of fellow who embraced his natural urges and followed his desires, after all. And getting Inaba to do the same... Well, that was an interesting idea. A strange twist of fate to make her fall from him instead of his destined rival.

If Taichi was the hero and Inaba was the princess... Then Arata was clearly the villain of this tale. A hero couldn't exist without an opposing force. The fun part was how he could go through with this. There were plenty of ways to spin this about. All he had to do the slip in through the cracks of Inaba's heart and do the things that Taichi couldn't do.]

But it's a shame that a cutie like you wants to hold out for that long. I mean... If you two truly loved each other, then you'd be do it as often as possible, right?

[ Can you hear the sarcasm dripping in her voice? Because it's going at full throttle at this point, and there's no stopping the breaks as she closes her eyes to think for a moment or two before sighing. ]

Last time that I checked... His dream is to save the world and the world is a pretty big place. [...] What makes you think that he'll give you all of his undivided attention when he's busy trying to help six billion people on this planet?

[ Inaba's hazel eyes widen in surprise; there's something different about Arata today, and there's something deep down that is liking it, no matter how much she's trying to suppress those feelings. She's just left dumbfounded as she stares at him, trying to think this through and make sure that she doesn't end up saying anything stupid. ]

We're going to go to the same college, so... he'd definitely give it to me! I'd force him, if I had to.

[Forcing him, huh? He's not sure if Taichi would have it in him, but he knew that Inaba might. So without any warning, Arata will put his hands on her shoulders and force her back against the wall. Never let it be said that he wasn't a pretty bold guy. Let's throw cautious to wind with this, shall we?]

Oh? You'd force him like this? Or would he force you?

[ Ah.

She finds herself nearly unable to move, no matter how much she wants to. But she manages to jerk her head away from him, looking away. Inaba Himeko won't fall for it; she's not going to get caught up into his pace in the slightest. ]

I-I'd be the one to force him, of course. Taichi's not the kind of person who would do that.

[This was wrong, very wrong... But Arata didn't care in the slightest. This was the price that Taichi had to pay for being selfless and naive. If you had something precious, then you had to dominate it and mark it as yours. It was clear that Taichi didn't have it in him to be more assertive with Inaba.

But Arata, however, was. A hero gives and a villain takes, after all. Even though she turns her face away, he'll be leaning his face in and plant some soft kisses against her neck.]

And that's why he'll never kiss you like this. He lacks what it means to "rule".

[ She finds herself taken aback when he presses his lips on her neck, but at the same time, she's relaxing into it. It's strange, she shouldn't like this, and this was wrong, but it excited her nevertheless. But she then tries to shove him away from her, glaring at him. Clearly furious. ]

What the hell was that for?! You-- you're taking it too far for just a joke.

Hmph... And you're taking it quite well for one.

[He'll be holding her in place with a rather strong grip. How far was too far? Arata was about to cross some lines and see what happened. This was in his demonic blood, after all. So he'll pull a hand down to her breast and gently brush his fingers against it. Her skin was covered by fabric, but the warmth of his hand was enough intent to show what he wanted.]
